I talked about CHES 2014 and possible participation from the project at
the conference. I've tried to do some calculations on costs to allow us
to see if we find it worth the expense, and if we are to send one or two
persons.

The registration for CHES 2014 has not opened yet, so that cost is
unknown. For CHES 2013 the cost was 670 USD plus 50 USD for
participation on any tutorials. The cost for CHES 2014 will probably not
be less than this.

The conference is from 2014-09-23 to 2013-09-26. When looking at hotels
I've included getting there on the 22:nd and leaving on the 27:th to be
able to participate fully on all days.

The venue is located at the Paradise Hotel Busan. One can quite
certainly find cheaper hotels in the vicinity. The cost for cheapest
rooms at this hotel is about 1500 USD for five nights.

Looking at travel from Sweden to Busan and back, Chipmunk provides
several trips. The one that starts reasonably and arrives in the 22:nd
is at around 1500 USD.

Thus in total, the cost for one person would be something like 3700 USD.
But one could quite probably reduce the cost with a cheaper hotel.
Looking at a few just around the block there are secveral that are
70%-50% of the Venue hotel that looks good too.
