PACKAGE_VERSION  := 2.0.$(shell git show -s --format=%ct HEAD)

So that would be the timestamp (unix epoch) of the last commit on
user/sra/alpha-releng/omnibus.

Mind you, that timestamp translates to 2016-07-09 19:03:10, so it misses
some late-breaking patches.
