Leif Johanson provided to us the link, in the hope that you could share with us information about the use of ChaCha20 (and related mechanisms) as pseudo-random generators.

As I mentioned at the mic just now there is quite a lot of experience with this approach over at cryptech.is.

Specifically reach out to the engineers (of which I am not one) on the tech @ cryptech.is list for pointers to analysis etc.
