Just FYI: we have an embarrassment of experts advising us in different
directions on this point, so of necessity this will be a plug-in
component, as Randy suggested a few weeks ago.

I say "embarrassment" rather than "excess" because it would be silly
and dangerous for us to turn away well-intended advice.  But it seems
unlikely that we're going to find the One True Answer.
