No, there is no predefined destination for the access violation signal.
It could be sent as an IRQ to the main CPU, a secondary monitor CPU, a
log function or C4-detonator.
It is a detection mechanism that you on system level decide to use or
not and how to do so. IMHO, in general, having the ability to detect
things is better than just hope that everything is fine and dandy.
Do you suggest that we don't provide detection mechanisms for the total
brokeness of the entropy providers either?
