I've also learned that a failed "dnskey 123" should say

  Key not found: 123

which when we trigger the bug does not happen.

Status: We still have the bug. Our current set of bug fixes do not fix
the issue, nor do adding debug printing (so no heisenbug hunting. yet.)

I'll keep hunting during breaks.
