novena arrived here in tokyo.  aproximately 10% customs.

plug it is and it does dhcp, gets an address, but does not open the ssh
port as the older boards used to.

so, as i do have a suntech 3.3V USB-FTDI cable i follow the destructions
at http://novena-guide.readthedocs.org/en/PVT2/quickstart-board.html

i plug the usb into my macbook, and set to 152000n81.  zterm sees the
usb.  but no console love.

i do note that the red light is on the mobo, and thought i remembere
green.

anyone with novena fu out there?
