i think you understand the divide well. cryptech code/docs are rabidly open, BSD-style for code and CC for docco. anyone should be able to use a cryptech design for any purpose. but whether we like it or not, propriatary tools and tools with gpl virus are ok for building. we have found no other mature paths. randy
