The WB afaik does not have a simple switch fabric solution (but this
should be investigated. What we discussed was having DMA support with
multiple masters allowed to drive the bus. This is possible to do.

There are switch fabrics such as the ARM AMBA AXI bus:

The verification of the system becomes harder with DMA units and switch
fabrics.

My feeling right now is that for first demonstrator we will not have
performance issues with WB.
