They won't go to /dev/null, they'll get written up in blog posts by self-
appointed experts who'll tell the world that your product shouldn't be used.

You've got perfectly good CPU-based good crypto assist sitting there ignored
because of pointless paranoia.

(Note that I don't know how to fix this issue because you're damned if you do
and damned if you don't, just pointing out that there is an issue that may
need to be addressed at some point).
