BTW, I finally read the Release Notes, and found out where you got the
idea that ISE only runs on Red Hat and SUSE. Those may be the supported
versions, but it runs fine on Ubuntu.

(*On Ubuntu, I did have to symlink /bin/sh to bash; by default /bin/sh
is symlinked to dash, which can't handle "if [ ]" in shell scripts.)

Will update my notes/clues (I hesitate to call them "instructions").
