My recollection is that we agreed: - We will use BSD for anything we write ourselves. - Other open source licenses may be OK for things other people wrote that we think we need to use: we prefer BSD but are not going to rule out reusing other people's code just because it's under some other license. Decide on a case by case basis when issue comes up.
